The Irish-American rappers in House of Pain created guilt-free party jams that could win over even the gloomiest goths at alt-dance clubs. Motown family act LMFAO and their ridiculous technicolour anthems like 'Sexy and I Know It' do the same. The songs are so fun they smash through any sort of hipster pretense and their party rock crosses race and genre divides.
