In His Words: "Since the inception of Diamond Rings I've often worked with Toronto based video director Colin Medley on various projects. He's directed videos for me but is also something of a spiritual compass when I'm writing and recording. Anyhow, he has tons of guitar rock albums from the mid '90s and often suggests songs that he thinks would be interesting for me to cover. This Teenage Fanclub track was one of those songs. I really liked the lyrics and melodies but obviously their style of production is nothing like my own.
