Josh Reichmann 'After Live' Release Party / Hunter & Cook #9 Magazine Launch: To celebrate the June 21 release of his record 'After Live,' Toronto artist Josh Reichmann (also one half of duo Bad Tits with DFA 1979's Sebastien Grainger) will be throwing a BBQ at this year's NXNE. In conjunction with Hunter & Cook Magazine, attendees will be treated to free music from Reichmann, fellow Hand Drawn Dracula labelmate Brian Borcherdt and many more. Also, a free issue of Hunter & Cook and lots of food!

Slapback + NXNE Presents -- Analogue Gallery Argentinian / Spanish BBQ : Slapback Media, a new PR and special events collective, will hold its first BBQ this year at the Analogue Gallery on Queen St. West. The day party will feature performances from some of the city's best talent, including Forest City Lovers, the Elwins and Zeus's Neil Quin. Free food and cheap drinks are also in store!

For the second year in a row, 'Live in Bellwoods' is presenting a week-long mini-festival of its own, holding performances from Thursday to Sunday featuring acts such as Tokyo Police Club's Graham Wright, Allie Hughes, DD/MM/YYYY, Chains of Love and more! Grab a picnic blanket, bring some snacks, sit back and relax!
