Surrounded by identically sweater-clad young men, Keren Ann maintains emotionally detached eye contact with the camera throughout her new clip for 'My Name Is Trouble.' Like a forgotten model from the 'Addicted to Love' video, it's the perfect visual accompaniment to Ann's hushed, seductive tune, courtesy of director Benjamin Seroussi.
"I was looking to create a robotic-yet-feminine atmosphere with a modern choreography (one that I am able to follow not being the greatest dancer of all times)," Ann tells Spinner. "The dress by Alexandre Vauthier is very important. The director, Benjamin Seroussi, has his own true sense of aesthetics. I wanted a blend of architecture and motion with a twist of a religious cult."
In the meantime, have a look at the exclusive premiere of 'My Name Is Trouble.'
The simple choreography is a charming touch, locked in with the song's repeated keyboard and four-on-the-floor groove. Fans can expect more sophisticated pop gems from the multi-talented Israeli singer-songwriter when her sixth solo album, '101' hits shelves in late February.
