30 Seconds to Mars Win VMA for Best Rock Video

Beating out indie darlings MGMT and Florence and the Machine, 30 Seconds to Mars took home the MTV VMA for Best Rock Video for their song 'Kings and Queens.' A blond Jared Leto was presented the award from the cast of 'Jackass 3D,' where he bashfully stated, "This is amazing."

'Kings and Queens' is the lead single off 30 Seconds to Mars' 2009 album 'This is War,' and Leto almost seemed humbled by the award, looking past the fact that it was given to him by the 'Jackass' crew. "This award really doesn't so much belong to us, it belongs to the most amazing family of friends and fans around the world," he said. "We're happy to accept it on their behalf. We're proud to be here and to share it with all the other artists."

30 Seconds to Mars are currently in the midst of a world tour that'll keep them on the road through the first part of 2011.

It is not surprising that Lady Ga ga won 8 awards, unfair cause she sucks so much but not surprising. As for the outfits well, meat dress get a grip Ga ga. Happiness abounds that the awesome 30 Seconds to Mars got an award for best rock video which they definately deserved. It was nice to see the wonderful Jared Leto accepting the award and thanking us fans, he seems to be one of the few artists who remembers his supporters at every opportunity which is one of the many many things I admire about him and his wonderful bandmates Shannon and Tomo!! Nov/Dec they are back here in the UK where we love them to play more gigs I cannot wait! Congrats on your win boys!!!
