Metric, 'Eclipse (All Yours)' Behind the Scenes -- Video Premiere

When Metric's Emily Haines was approached by award-winning composer Howard Shore about writing a track for 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' soundtrack, it was clear that the band was presented with an opportunity to reach an epic new audience. Haines, Shore and guitarist Jimmy Shaw soon got to co-writing the song, 'Eclipse (All Yours),' with a certain focus in mind.

"[Shore] was like, 'What I'm attracted to is Metric, but it's not about it representing Metric," the frontwoman says in the following clip. "It's about you embodying the voice of Bella."

The behind-the-scenes footage, directed by Luke Wooden, captures the scenic shots of the rustic North Vancouver location in which the song's video was filmed.

"Kristen Stewart is a really good actress and I feel like Bella's a really important character for young women," Haines previously told Spinner. "She's not a stupid girl. It's one of the most insightful portraits that I've ever seen of what it really is like to be a young woman and deal with the kaleidoscope of emotions that you go through on a daily basis."

Watch the exclusive video below to get a peek at what it was like to translate the feeling of 'Eclipse' into a music video.

Cool song. (Sarcastically) Ya Bella is important for young women. We should teach them to be submissive and drop everything that they want, their goals their dreams to live for and serve someone who is attracted to them physically, controlling and borderline abusive.

this movie is written by a mormon trying to convert young kids. I would refuse to watch it and just be at peace with our own self rather than mormon brain washing through the use of media.

Have not seen the third installment yet but hope the music in this one is not the same annoying garbage as the other two.

As for Bella - you, too, can be an expressionless brain dead who falls for a greasy looking vampire whose constant grimmaces look like he is trying to pass gas and failing.

Yeah right. Bella Swan is perhaps one of the most stupid girls I have ever had the displeasure of reading and watching. She lets her boyfriend control her life (i.e. stealing her car, keeping her locked in her house, breaking her car, driving her where she doesn't want to go). When he leaves her, she freaks out and stops living, until she finds out that she can see him if she gets in danger, so she gets on the back of some random guys motorcycle, and then jumps off of a cliff. Then, when said ex-boyfriend thinks she's dead and goes suicidal, she runs over to ITALY to try and get him back. She thens marries and sleeps with the deranged freak, and has a evil baby that tries to eat its way out of her stomach. The baby is (when just a day old) "imprinted" on by a werewolf, which means that they will be together for life as perfect mates. A baby. Not to mention that the sadistic boyfriend is a vampire, because everyone wants to make out with their next meal. Bella Swan, yeah, that's the most brilliant, important role model ever. We all want our kids to be like that.

I could not agree with you more Emma. The character of Bella Swan is the most ridiculous idea I've ever seen. I TRIED to read the first book and couldn't get past ten pages. Not only is the character of Bella a horrid idea, but that Stephanie Myers can't write worth a DAMN.

Thank you for that. I read the books because my teenage daughter was reading them. We talked about Bella's weak character and her needy,self-destructive behavior when it came to her boyfriend, Edward. I certainly don't think that Bella is a role model.I want both my girls to be strong, brave, self reliant women who love themselve above any boyfriend they chose. I understand that most teenage girls (and even younger) love Twilight but moms need to make it clear that Bella is just sad and pathetic. NOT AT ALL what we want for our girls.
