At this year's SXSW, Spinner is proud to present four pop-up shows featuring some of today's hottest acts, kicking off on Wednesday, March 17, with Broken Bells, the project by DJ Danger Mouse and James Mercer of the Shins. In addition to the duo, Spinner's shows will feature Bay Area rockers Rogue Wave, British soul/pop songstress V V Brown and New York post-hardcore outfit Rival Schools on March 18-20. On the day of the shows, the times and locations will be announced on Spinner as well as at AOL Music's SXSW coverage, Spinner's Facebook page and our SXSW Twitter feed.
Fans who can't make it aren't out of luck, though -- beginning the day after each show, Spinner will stream two songs from each concert in a special edition of the Interface. On top of these special shows, which will be held in venues ranging from parking lots to restaurants, Spinner is hosting a special SXSW Soul Revue featuring Smokey Robinson, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Raphael Saadiq, Black Joe Lewis and Mayer Hawthorne at the Austin Music Hall on Friday, March 19 at 7PM.
