Yoko Ono intends to chronicle her life with and marriage to John Lennon in an upcoming autobiography, which she hopes to have finished by 2015. Ono, 76, says she intends to tell all about her affair with Lennon, which prompted John to leave his first wife Cynthia, and crush existing myths about her role in the Beatles' split. "I would love to do it. I just have to find the time," Yoko told fans in a website chat with fans, the Daily Express reports. "It will be my next book, which will be written in the next five years."
Fans have long blamed Ono for her role in the Beatles' breakup, but according to a Beatles expert, "she's always maintained she never broke up the Beatles, so this will be her chance to put the record straight."
"Unlike Cynthia," the unnamed expert continued, "Yoko has never really told her side of the Beatles story and the truth about her affair and subsequent marriage to John, so the book will be much awaited."
