Jackson Leaving Beatles Songs to McCartney in Will

Michael Jackson reportedly plans to end his longstanding feud with Paul McCartney by leaving him the Beatles' back catalog in his will. Jacko and Macca have been estranged since a falling out back in 1985, after Jackson beat out McCartney and Yoko Ono -- widow of John Lennon -- in a bidding war for the rights to 200 of Fab Four's legendary songs.

Sir Paul, 66, has long felt betrayed by Jackson, now 50, on principle. In 2006 McCartney said, "You know what doesn't feel very good, is going on tour and paying to sing all my songs. Every time I sing 'Hey Jude,' I've got to pay someone."

Previously, the pair collaborated on Jackson's 1982 'Thriller' extract 'The Girl is Mine,' and McCartney's 1983 single 'Say, Say, Say' from 'Pipes of Peace.'

U.K. newspaper the Daily Mirror quotes a Jackson insider as saying, "Michael told his lawyers he was sad he no longer talks to Sir Paul and said he wanted to make things right."

Just last month, Jackson denied rumors that he was suffering from a deadly lung condition after unauthorized biographer Ian Halperin claimed Jackson was battling emphysema, genetic illness Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (A1AD) and was also losing the vision in his left eye.

I unfortunately came across these bullshit comments when looking at the collaberations of two of the greatest artists of all time. My thoughts are that any of you here who have bagged Michael for having the intelligence to purchase the recordings (along with hunderds of songs by other artists he admired) are a bunch of halfwits conned by the media. Michael did this when he was building his empire. Paul Mc had so much money already he could have easily bought them but didn't.
Since Michaels unfortunate death he has sold more than 31 million albums (March 10) around the world and the media can't bullshit about that! The greatest performer to have lived was also the most hounded, funny how the drug taking and failings of the greatest "band" of all time seem to rarely come up.

I think his family and All the people around him wanted his money and his beatle money coming in. They all new that if he died they would get some. So one way or the other they got what they wanted. They all act like it hurts that he is dead, that they miss him, but the truth is something else. Hope money covers their greaty life and soul. Just remember, when we die we don't even take a dime. God bless.

Hmm. I think someone should look into criminal charges, they wrote this just before Michael passes away, and now his just fired attorney's who I assumed allowed this mess posted about his so call will has sued to gain access. I think Michael fired them just as reports of is health which he refuted was bad. Sounds like a coverup for a murder to gain control of the beatles cataloug. The charges of child malestation didn't work, so go for the next best thing. If I was the family I would keep investigation going, and find out who and where information for this post was acquired.

If Paul Mccartney wrote those songs, than why didn't he take claim back than, who did he sell them to for them to be placed on the bidding block. They weren't Paul's to begin with. I can go to an auction and say I want a certain piece of property, but if I can't out bid the highest bidder, than tough cookie.

J Torrie, you need to chill out. M.J. was a truely talented person, but that doesn't mean he didn't make mistakes. You don't know the truth behind all of this stuff anymore than anyone else does. I'm sure M.J. would think well of you, calling people names who have a different opinion than you do. Your intelligence is showing in your rambling comment. The word is "AND" not "an." I think you meant "things" not "thinks," not to mention all of the other grammatical and spelling errors in your post. You dare to call other people stupid? Perhaps YOU should shutup.
